Jessica Harrison, LCSW

Hello! Thank you for visiting my site. I am glad you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with years of experience providing effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground for adults, adolescent and children through online counseling and individualized treatment.

My focus is to help my clients heal and become aware of their inner strengths through the convenience of teletherapy. My clients often share that they appreciate that I am a therapist who brings a focused commitment and support to my counseling and treatment. My goal is not to keep you in therapy forever and ever, but to help you overcome the obstacles that are tripping you up in life so that you can recover motivation, perspective, and begin your journey towards a healthier, happier you! I aim to teach my clients the skills they need to succeed in their lives independently. 

I have an immense passion to help people to heal and grow. Working on yourself is never the easiest or most comfortable path to take, which is why I partner with each of my patients to move towards a balanced, connected, and self-aware way of approaching the world. I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. I am here for you and helping you overcome your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life is my pleasure.

Approach

I offer a compassionate, gentle and dynamic approach  to psychotherapy. My style is authentic, nonjudgmental and  supportive. I work with individuals in various kinds of distress to both relieve suffering and address the issues causing pain. I work collaboratively with patients to improve self-awareness, develop insight, and learn new ways of coping with life stressors to  facilitate healing and growth. Services are provided online using a dynamic approach to therapy.  I utilize the Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic approach. My gentle, client-entered approach makes therapy less intimidating.
